What kind of wand does your character possess? Dragon heartstring core, Oak wand, about 9 inches.
Does your character own a broom? Which brand? *Nimbus with mod permission only* She owns the latest of the Cleansweep series, though she doesn't use it much.
Describe your character’s strengths (both magically and personality-wise. Please note that Animagi and Metamorphmagi, etc. are extremely rare and you MUST have Mod Permission.): I'd like her to be really strong in Transfiguration especially -- like something about that particular subject just comes naturally to her. Other than that, she's does semi-well in all of her classes, though of course she struggles in some more than others. Um. She really doesn't have a very nice personality. So I don't know what her non-magical-type strengths would be. heh. She's extremely loyal to her three best friends, in her own way, I guess.
Describe your character’s flaws/weaknesses: Oh, except herbology, which she HATES. Get your hands dirty? Nooo, thank you. haha. Um. As far as struggling, she'd struggle in History of Magic and Charms, I think. She's judgemental like WHOA. Really. Pureblood elitism? Oh definitely. She doesn't have a problem speaking her mind -- which could also be a strength, but I can see it getting her into trouble. She's just getting into boys and develops and loses crushes rather quickly, though in the period when she does like them she'll probably just be an utter bitch to them. She likes... pretty much no one. Especially outside of her House. Gryffs, especially, are to be hated upon. She looks down on pretty much everyone, and considers herself better than the large majority of the population.
Describe your character's physical attributes. If you have a preferred PB, state it here -- although check the list (http://www.livejournal.com/community/hihnp_ooc/121506.html) first!: Thora Birch, re: Now and Then. Slytherin what? YAY. Also, Melanie Griffith is her mom and Brett Cullen is her dad.
Is your character Muggle born, a half breed, or a pureblood? Explain it. Pureblood. And elitist to the extreme? You bet.
Character Background/History: Vanessa grew up in England with her parents and those whom her parents were close friends with. She is especially good friends with Tamara Michelle Collins, Daria Eleanor Dharma, and Claudia Elise Lyons, and they have all been good friends since they were very young. She has a younger sister, Victoria, who is five. She doesn't pay much attention to Victoria, however, and having a younger sibling doesn't bother her as her parents are rich enough to spoil them both. She spent her childhood going to those pureblood functions, and she definitely believes in the purity of the blood
